With deepest sorrow, I must announce the passing of Lou Montano, President of LAKO, on November 13, 2021.
Husband. Father. Friend. Colleague. Leader.
Lou was an energetic, innovative and genuine leader who gained universal respect from all he encountered. He worked at LAKO for over 43 years, during which time he was responsible for numerous patented packaging machinery innovations and for leading LAKO to the industry forefront as a successful company.
Although we will struggle with the loss of this great man, he left a legacy of a company with sound infrastructure that will continue to thrive in his absence. His spirit will live on and so will LAKO’s dedication to quality and excellence.
